Ryan Schick is a dedicated legal and strategic advocate for small businesses and startups in Columbus, Ohio. With a rich background in media, including roles at The Washington Post, Sports Illustrated, and Condé Nast, Ryan transitioned to become Columbus’s Small Business Concierge in 2014. In this role, he helped startups and small business owners navigate complexities, earning Columbus Business First’s 40 Under 40 recognition. As the founder of Activate Law, Ryan continues to empower businesses with a focus on community involvement. Beyond his legal work, he has raised over $50,000 for Pelotonia, serves as General Counsel for the Ohio Chamber of Commerce for Veterans, and contributes to his community through his role on the Bexley Zoning and Planning Committee. Ryan lives in Bexley, Ohio, with his wife, Laura, and their son, Henry. He takes great pride in teaching Henry the art of grilling, a skill and passion he developed growing up in Kansas City, Missouri.
